Mario Spinetti was born in Italy in 1961. Among the Abruzzi Mountains was the first experience of the wilderness of the places and of the spirit, and understood the infinite value of nature itself. Aware of the profound meaning that the place where you live can activate the soul of the individual, regularly stayed in the wilderness, to better understand and above all experience the spirit bioregionalist, that spirit of the wild and of the place that if reported to the naked reappears in each of us. From an early age he developed his passion for the natural world and a holistic and eco-centric vision of it. He has gained and learned the acute vision of deep ecology. Since the late seventies he has been actively involved in nature conservation and ornithology, to teriology and beekeeping. From 1981 to the spring of 2003 he was an official of the Natural Reserve (State Forestry) "Monte Velino" (Central Apennines) as naturalist with particular reference to the fauna. From 1992 to 1998 he worked, always as a naturalist, in the Regional Natural Reserve "Zompo lo Schioppo". Over the years, on behalf of various publishers and organizations, he has published numerous books on natural themes (natural and historical guides of field, European beekeeping Dictionary, fauna of the Reserve Velino and Fauna Regional Park Sirente / Velino, check -list of the fauna of the Marsica, monograph Golden eagle, Social life of bees, Aromel, Herbal preparations for beekeeping use, essay the natural philosophical ethical reflections Man on nature conservation and on lifestyle, Napapiiri, return to the wild, My Walden, etc.) as well as scientific and popular articles on specific magazines.
